Transfers/So long Sister Schade
Some of the Elders were coming and some going.
Welcome to Sister Wahlstrom, and Elder Fakatoufifiti
Road trip to Rabi boat. The Elders like to sing and they have great voices!
Dan with Elders who are headed to Rabi.
Off to Rabi Island.
Rabi Island Elders shoes next to mine! These two are big men with big feet! My shoes are the light brown ones. And I don’t have small feet. In Fiji you always remove your shoes before entering anyone’s home.
Elder Sekona took off his shoes and left them in the middle of the road as we waited for the boat to come. Wearing no shoes is very typical here. We see children everyday walking down the street without shoes. However you do see many men who are working wearing rubber boots. I need to get some photos of people wearing boots.
Sister Schade and her new companion in Viti Leavu
This is a view you pass on the way back from Tukavesi. We had to stop and get a photo. It is beautiful!
Check out this back loader, I think that is what the machine is called. Didn’t look very safe to me!
Dan at the wharf
These trees are in our back yard. The rain and storms have caused them to bend over and some of the trunks to break.

Pigeons on Main Street in Savusavu. The woman in the store was throwing some sort of pellets out to them.
Sisters watching General Conference in our flat. They are not use to Air conditioning!

This is the Savusavu hospital. It is up on a hill not far from our house.
