Temple trip 2, Birthday, Anniversary

40 year Anniversary. We went to the movie at Labasa while there for the Conference

Bus ride to the jetty. The music was so loud on the bus I put my earplugs in.

Waiting to get on the boat. The boat captain must have been brand new cause he couldn’t get the boat to the cement ramp. It took 2 hours!

Fun teaching everyone how to play Uno. An Indian couple joined in the fun.

Our first day at the temple. Brother & Sister Delai, Apo, Tusali, Mereani, Epi and Mereani B all were endowed. Then Epi, Mereani and Arieta were sealed. Israeli and Charles were able to perform baptisms and confirmations.

The Delai family was sealed on Wednesday. Sister Delai performed Initiatory and endowment for Sereana, their daughter who passed away a little over a month ago. She really wanted to go with her family to the temple.

Mereani and Epi also got their teeth worked on. Epi was very apprehensive but I think he was glad after it was all done.

Happy 60th b-day to me. Sister La’ulu put this yummy tray together for me. It wasn’t an ice cream cake, but maybe we can have one when we get home, 😉

The bus ride back to Savusavu was chuck full. Two gentlemen let me sit with them on their seat. Elder Keck stood or should I say leaned over the yellow bar holding on most of the way. He was able to stand by the door when the man standing there got off for about 1/4 of the trip. It was not the most comfortable ride! We made it back home safely!
