Funeral, moving Elders, Big Fish

On  our road trip to Tukavesi. The sisters have never been there. It was a great experience for all.

Goofy photos the sisters took of us

The plate on the left is sister Keck’s. The one on the right is for the chief, Elder Keck.
Sitting on the floor is customary in Fiji. Eating with your hands is also.

The food was great!

The new Landloard of the flat in Tukavesi! Great name!

We had a big crew to help move!

Fiji loves Volleyball! Fun watching these kids play in their village on the beach.

This is at the funeral. They make these big posters for special occasions and then hang them in their flat.

Funeral program. We both participated. The music DJ’s name is on the bottom. Look him up on YouTube. He is great.

At the cemetery

Dan dedicated the grave.

Meal after the cemetery service, back at the flat.
This is the secondary school just down from our house. We took a walk just before dark to check it out.

Sunset from the Copra Shed restaurant. It was beautiful!

There as a cruise ship in port on Saturday. The people set up their tents with all their good close to where the boat docks. The boat leaves and the stands disappear too.

We saw this Mongoose at the market.I have been trying to get a photo of one. They sprint across the roads all the time and I can never get a picture. I think it is very uncommon for one to be in the market! Ha!

President Uluiviti from Tukavesi rode back with us from the funeral in Labasa. We had to stop and get the fresh Fiji water from a pipe on the side of the road. There was a line of people getting water

Watching conference with the Sisters. Not too different than at home!!!
